With the Blue Cross mobile app, members with iPhones or Android smart phones can easily manage their health care. A few of the things you can do with the mobile app:
- See plan details: Review your medical, prescription, dental and vision coverage, including any spending accounts you may have and the status of referrals and prior authorization requests.
- Check deductible and out-of-pocket balances: Explore how much you’ve paid toward your deductible and learn more about your out-of-pocket maximum to plan for future medical expenses. The Blue Cross mobile app makes this information easy to access, as it's located right on the app's home page.
- Manage pharmacy and drugs: Check drug prices, receive coverage warnings and look for lower-cost alternatives. Eligible members with Blue Cross or Blue Care Network (BCN) pharmacy coverage can choose to have certain prescriptions transferred to home delivery.
- View claims and your Explanation of Benefits (EOBs): Double check what a provider charged for a medical service before you pay your bill. Search for claims by time frame, member, service type or provider.
- Find a Doctor: Easily find a doctor, specialist or hospital in your network. Not familiar with the doctor’s office or hospital location? GPS-enabled directions are also available to get you there.
- Compare cost estimates: Keep your health and budget in check by easily estimating and comparing health service costs.
- View and replace your Identification card: Your Blue Cross or BCN ID card can be accessed on the app, so you don't have to panic when you don't have it around while on a call or in a visit with a provider. There's even an option to order a new card if you've lost yours.
- Monitor health and wellness goals and receive discounts: Explore all the benefits being a Blue Cross member has to offer, including Blue Cross Virtual Well-Being seminars, rewards and discounts through Blue 365 and much more.
