DETROIT, May 22, 2019 – Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan President and CEO Daniel J. Loepp has been reappointed board chairman of the BCS Financial Corporation board of directors. BCS, which designs growth, diversification and protection solutions specifically for Blue Plans, is owned by all primary Blue Cross Blue Shield licensees and has delivered its services to Blue Plans for nearly 70 years. In addition to his role as chairman, Loepp also serves on the BCS Governance and Human Capital Committee. “Over the last year as chairman of BCS, I have been pleased to take part in the continued success of an organization that unites all Blue Plans by innovating on coverage options and strengthening our commitment to the community,” Loepp said. “I look forward to continuing as chairman to encourage national-level conversations around expanding health care coverage for Blue Cross and Blue Shield members nationwide.” BCS specializes in solutions related to ancillary income, specialty risk, large claims and financial services for Blue Cross and Blue Shield licensees.
