The needs of customers and members are top priorities for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and Blue Care Network (our nonprofit health maintenance organization). In 2022, Michigan’s health care landscape continued to change and the people we serve depended on us to help them navigate the pandemic. We were ready to help with more choices for care from both virtual and in-person providers, personalized programs and more options that offer exceptional value.
BCN supports the enterprise’s overall mission to be our members’ trusted partner by providing affordable, innovative products that improve their care and health. In 2022, this meant expanding and improving product options and services and rethinking how we educate, engage and empower members to manage their health care and costs.
Last year, BCN quickly adapted when our customers and members needed more options for care and developed virtual primary care plans and expanded access to a wide network of quality health care providers. BCN’s efforts to develop effective health programs have lowered out-of-pocket costs for members while ensuring their health care is received at the right time and place.
People continue to turn to us because we keep our customers and members at the center of everything we do. You know when you choose Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and Blue Care Network, you’ll receive superior products and services from a trusted brand that always puts your well-being first.
