Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan is among the top Metro Detroit companies to work for, according to the National Association for Business Resources.
For the fourth consecutive year, the association has named Blue Cross one of the “Best and Brightest Companies to Work For” – a competition that honors companies who do an exceptional job communicating with their employees, providing work-life balance, offering education opportunities, recognizing their employees and retaining them.
The association designated Blue Cross as an "Elite" winner in the category of Civility and Inclusion. Blue Cross is committed to providing an inclusive workplace for employees, which strengthens the business for our members.
Thirteen other Metro Detroit companies also received the "Elite" designation.
“These companies have dedicated themselves to creating a meaningful impact within their organizational culture,” said Jennifer Kluge, President and National Association for Business Resources CEO and the Best & Brightest Programs. “By putting employees first, these forward-thinking organizations have gained a distinct advantage.”
The Best and Brightest award program is a national initiative to celebrate companies working to make better businesses, enrich lives and build stronger communities. It’s one of the ways Blue Cross has been recognized for its efforts to support its employees and to support the community at large.
The association previously named Blue Cross one of the top 101 companies to work for in the U.S. Blue Cross has previously been recognized as a leader in inclusion in the workplace, as we’ve been included in Forbes’ Best Employers for Diversity List and been named by the National Organization on Disability as a Leading Disability Employer.
